905 Pizzeria is a group project where my team members and I tasked to create a branding system for a drive-through pizzeria. The goal was to create the business concept from scratch and work together as a group to design the overall branding such as logos, the color palette, look and feel, a website, and other touchpoints/deliverables that the business would have to interact with its customers.

The concept of a drive-through pizzeria was developed by the group as a whole as well as the look and feel. The type chosen was by yours truly, it is a pairing of Avenir LT Std and Minion Pro. Avenir is a geometric sans serif that has a proportional well-balanced appearance that contrast perfectly with Minion Pro, a very legible serif typeface. The logo designs, interior mock ups, and illustrations used for the branding were created by my teammates.

My role was for this project was project manager and the one of packaging designers. I oversaw the production schedule, financial tracking and designed an original box design for the entity. Above you will find example of deliverables that my group collaborated on and mainly my contribution to the group such as the slice box, hat and apron.

As for my role as package designer, I was very diligent with my process as I have a high interest in packaging design as it is like solving and building a large puzzle. I created miniature mock ups, drew out multiple versions of the pizza box template, and did several fitting tests for every template to get the right fit. The design and layout were thoughtful in the placement of graphic elements and content in consideration for the customers. Examples are shown above.
